A Family photographer based in New Malden, covering Kingston upon Thames and the Surrey area. Photography By Shal is my little business and has been running since 2019.
I have worked for many years (over 20) with children – in various settings and have established just how to get those cheeky smile, and beautiful connection between parents, babies and siblings. I love capturing those special moments and the and love between families and I know that in years to come you will feel the same love and connection that you did, way back when.
After studying photography with the British Academy of Photography I completed specific newborn training with an established newborn photographer which covered all that I needed to learn to carry out a safe and secure photoshoot for newborns whist still producing those stunning images that parents love.

My style is natural, timeless and simple, using neutral colours in all of my photoshoots. This classic style is timeless. Using a variety of beautiful baby clothing, wraps, props, headbands and bonnets for you to choose from I will create a beautiful gallery for to treasure for eternity.
Photography sessions take place in my New Malden, home-studio that is located in the leafy suburb of Kingston Upon Thames, just minutes away from New Malden High street.
