Kingston upon Thames father's day photo sessions

Why Father’s Day & Family Photos Matter | studio Family photoshoots in Kingston upon Thames

Father’s Day is a time to pause, reflect, and celebrate the person who quietly supports and loves us unconditionally. As a photographer of family photoshoots in Kingston upon Thames, I will go over why these family sessions matter so much.

Time moves faster than we realise

We all change so fast, one minute our children are babies, and the next they are off to university and living their lives (this applies to me!). A mini family session will allow you to capture your little ones, and your family, just as they are with images that will proudly decorate your walls for years to come

Fathers (and sometimes mums too) are missing from photos

When we look back at family photos, many a time our fathers (or sometimes mothers) are missing from them, as they are the ones taking the photos. With my Father’s Day family mini session, you will be able to have a collection of images with all family members included. My sessions will capture a family of up to 5 people in one session.

I capture relationships, not just presence

At my family photo sessions, I love to capture the essence of your family, who you are as a unit. I quickly gauge what makes you and your little ones giggle and smile, and encourage the connection to flow through to my camera with my 7 years of experience behind the camera. With a neutral backdrop, the focus will just be on the people who matter most – your family.

Legacy to look back on | studio Family photoshoots in Kingston upon Thames

With over 13,000 images on my phone, I struggle to find special images to look back upon. Creating legacy images with my family is something that I pride myself on doing.  All of my studio Family photoshoots in Kingston upon Thames are designed to be part of your family’s legacy, passed down from generation to generation as not just some photos captured on a phone, but as meaningful heirlooms.

A moment to celebrate who you are as a family – at this moment in time

Life can be so busy, especially for families. A short photo session creates a moment in time that you all are together, when everyone is in

the moment and celebrates your unit.

This year carries more meaning for me personally

This year, Father’s Day feels different. I lost my own father in December, and it’s made me reflect even more deeply on how precious these moments really are. The photos we have of the people we love become so much more than images—they become memories we can return to when time has moved on, and words are no longer enough. It’s a reminder of how important it is to capture the people we love while we can, in the most ordinary and meaningful parts of life.
